Campaigns and consents

Write to the right customers, only to those who said yes

The yearly check coming up, a warranty ending, a seasonal offer: the module picks the customers it concerns, keeps the proof of their consent, shows the mail before it goes, then tells who received it, who was left out and why.

What the module does

Four parts that hold together: who to write to, who said yes, what to send, and a sending that keeps to the first two up to the last mail.

  • Segments

The customers, vehicles or warranties it is for, as a saved filter: a few conditions, counted again each time it opens, never a frozen list that ages.

  • The consent register

Each customer’s yes or no, per channel and purpose, with its date, its source and its proof. Nothing is edited: a change of mind is a new line. No answer means no.

  • Campaigns

A subject and a message with fields to insert (the customer’s name, their vehicle, a date), the reach before sending, and a preview of the mail filled in for the first person.

  • A sending that keeps its word

One mail per person, never to someone who said no, even if they said it after the click on “Send”, and an unsubscribe link in every mail.

Not there yet

  • Sending by SMS, post or phone: consents on those channels are recorded already, campaigns go out by mail.
  • A designed mail or an attached document: the message is a text with its fields to insert.
  • Reading the reports of undelivered mails on its own.
  • Separate campaigns per site: the sites of one group share one register.

Screen by screen

The screens come from the example app of a leisure vehicle dealer, on made up data. In your app, they carry your words, your customers and your goods.

Management, sales manager, after sales manager

Decide on a campaign, and see what it gave

Before sending, know how many customers will get it and read the mail as they will. After, know who got it, and why the others did not.

  • The segment’s reach for the purpose picked: the lines, the people, those who may be mailed, those with no consent, no address or the same address as another.
  • The mail as the first person will read it, each field filled in: their name, their vehicle, the end of their warranty.
  • “Send” asks for a confirmation that says how many people will get it.
  • Once sent, the campaign is fixed: the counts per status, the mail as the first recipient received it, and each recipient with the reason when they were left out.

After sales, workshop, marketing

Choose who to write to

A segment says who it concerns, in a few conditions you read as a sentence. It is counted again each time it opens.

  • Over contacts, vehicles or warranties: a field, an operator, a value, and all of the conditions or any of them.
  • The preview shows the lines found in your app’s own columns.
  • The reach follows the purpose: a customer who agrees to servicing reminders and refuses offers gets the one, never the other.
  • Over the warranties themselves, the mail can say which vehicle and which day.

Front desk, sales staff, office

Keep each customer’s consent, and its proof

The day a customer asks why they got a mail, or an inspection asks, the answer is in the app: when they said yes, to what, and on what proof.

  • Consent is given per channel and purpose: mail, SMS, post, phone; offers apart from servicing reminders.
  • A yes is recorded with its proof, a note or the signed document; a no is always recorded.
  • Nothing is edited or deleted: a change of mind is a new line, the history stays.
  • On the contact’s page, the state of each channel and purpose, its history, and “Record a change”.

Your customers

What the customer receives

A mail in their name, about their vehicle, and a clear way out if they want no more.

  • One mail per person per campaign, even for three vehicles concerned; two people at one address get it once.
  • A no that arrives after the click on “Send” wins: the mail does not go.
  • Every mail carries an unsubscribe link, and mail clients offer one click unsubscribe.

The trades that use it

The same module, with the words, the customers and the goods of each trade.

  • Leisure vehicle dealers

The yearly leak test coming up, the end of a warranty extension, only to the customers who said yes. The dealers’ page tells this desk with the adverts.

  • Your trade

A laundry announcing its new opening hours to its subscribers, a heating installer reminding the yearly boiler service: the same screens, with your words and your data.

With the other modules

It reads what the other modules already hold, with nothing typed twice.

  • Customers and deals

The contacts are the people to write to, and their page shows their consents.

  • Tracked goods

The vehicles and tracked goods, with their owner: a segment targets them directly.

  • Warranty claims

Each good’s warranties and their end date: a segment can target those that end.

Your customers, your campaigns

GoLocomotive is in private testing. Access is by invitation. Once you are invited, we show you this module on your trade, with your own segments.
