About

GoLocomotive builds one app for each business, with AI agents that change it on request and a review loop that keeps the business owner in charge.

The company behind GoLocomotive

Locomotive makes software that helps local businesses keep in touch with their customers: missed calls, Google reviews, a chat on their website, one inbox for every message, automatic reminders, and payment links sent by text message.

It serves three sectors: vehicles (dealers, garages, leisure vehicles, vehicle recyclers, used cars), building trades (heating, chimneys, air conditioning) and health (health centres, medical labs, opticians). More than 800 business locations use it. The company is based in Paris.

The Locomotive team builds GoLocomotive: one made to measure business app for each client, built and changed by AI agents, with every change approved on a running preview.

Why it is built this way

Every business app needs the same foundations: a database, sign in, data screens, mail, backups, and a way to ask for changes. That code lives once, in one shared toolkit, and every app gets it.

So each app stays small: its data and rules, its screens, a few server actions. A small app is one an agent changes safely, and one a business owner judges by looking at it.

Agents do the building. People do the judging. A picture before and after, next to the running app, is the whole conversation.

Every app runs on servers we run, never on a client machine, so we can keep the layers in front of it in place.

Where it stands today

  • The toolkit, the portal with its review cards, the agents that work inside their sandbox, the deploy to our production server and the MCP server work today.
  • Some things other platforms offer are not part of GoLocomotive yet: phone apps from the stores, chat apps, a marketplace. The docs list them in Not available yet, each as a plain no, not a promised date.
  • GoLocomotive is new. GoLocomotive is in private testing. Access is by invitation.

These pages and the docs are plain files built by a small script. No cookie, no tracker, no outside font or script. Every page of the docs also exists as markdown for AI agents: see llms.txt.
