Ask for a change

Send a request with your words and a picture of the screen, and follow it until a card answers it.

A request is how you ask for anything in an existing app: a new screen, a different column, a bug fix, a new rule. An agent starts on it as soon as you send it.

Send a request#

  1. Open the app, then click New request at the top of the review column.
  2. Pick what it is: I want something or Something is broken.
  3. Write what must change. For a bug, write what is wrong and where.
  4. Optional: click Add a screenshot of the preview. The portal takes a picture of the page the preview shows now. Drag on the picture to draw a rectangle, or click to drop a pin. Each mark gets its own comment field.
  5. Click Send.

What happens next#

Your request becomes a card in the list, marked your request. An agent takes it at once. The card's line in the list always says who works on it and what state it is in:

statewhat it meansyour move

The list puts what waits for you first: questions, then cards to judge. The counts at the top ("2 for you · 1 working") filter the list when you click them.

Answer a question#

An agent that needs a decision asks it on the card and stops. Write your answer on the card. The same agent continues with your answer, with everything it already did. Nobody needs to type "go".

When a run fails#

A failed card shows three buttons:

  • Retry continues the same agent from where it stopped, with the reason it stopped.
  • Archive closes the request. It no longer shows when Hide handled is on.
  • Delete removes the request and the records of the agent's runs on it, after a confirmation. Code the agent already saved stays in the app's history. It is refused while an agent still works on it.

Archive all failed at the top of the list closes every failed card at once.

Write a request that works the first time#

  • One subject per request.
  • Say the result you want, not the method: "late orders must stand out", not "make the row red".
  • Point at the screen with a rectangle rather than describe where something is.
  • Name who it is for when roles differ: "managers see the total, staff do not".
