Using the portal

The one page where you ask for changes, judge them next to the live app, release, deploy, and manage users and settings.

The portal is one page in four columns. Every border is a handle: drag it to make a column wider. Double click a border to put the column back to its size. The portal keeps your sizes for the next visit.

  • Apps. Your apps, and + new to describe a new one. The menu button at the top left hides this column when you work on one app.
  • Review. The cards: what the agents send you and what you asked for. Open one to see it in full. See Review a change.
  • Releases. What changed since the last version, the versions so far, and the buttons to release, deploy, revert and take the app offline. See Release and deploy.
  • Users. The people who can sign in to your app, in the working copy or the live app. See Users and access.
  • Preview. Your app as it runs now, in a phone or desktop frame. It stays loaded while you move between cards.

The header#

Above the preview, one line tells you where the app stands:

  • its name, and the version in the working copy (with +3 when three changes wait to be released);
  • the version that is live, its memory use and how long it has run, and a link to its address;
  • if the app is not live yet: a Deploy button for the newest release, and the address it will have.

The gear opens the App settings: name, color, logo, language, address and access.

The address bar keeps your place#

The portal writes the open app, the tab, the open card and the preview's page into the address bar. A reload or a bookmark opens the same view.
