# Review a change

> Read a card, compare before and after, mark what is wrong, and give the answer that tells the agent what to do next.

Every change an agent makes reaches you as a card. A card is one subject: one screen, one rule, one fix. Your answer to it is the agent's next instruction.

## What a card holds

- **A title** that names what you look at.
- **A few lines** on what changed, with the thing to judge in bold.
- **Views.** At least a picture before and a picture after. A card can hold more views of the same subject: the phone and the desktop size, an empty list and a full one, a short video for anything that moves.
- **The page it is about.** Open that page in the live preview next to the card and try the change yourself.
- **Its thread.** Your earlier answers, the agent's replies, and the cards it replaces.

## Compare before and after

Four ways to look at a pair, from the buttons above the pictures:

| mode | shows |
|---|---|
| side by side | before on the left, after on the right |
| swipe | one picture, a divider you drag across to reveal before or after |
| onion | after over before, with a slider for how much shows through |
| after | the after picture, the before when you hover it |

Click a picture to open it full screen. The arrow keys move between views.

## Mark what is wrong

Drag on a picture to draw a rectangle. Click to drop a pin. Give each mark a comment: "this label", "too close to the edge", "missing here". On a video, a mark keeps the moment you drew it, and the video pauses while you draw.

## Give your answer

| answer | when | what happens |
|---|---|---|
| **Approve** | it is right | the card closes, the look is fixed |
| **Approve with a fix** | right, but for a small detail | the agent makes the fix. It sends a new card only when the fix needs your eyes |
| **Reject** | it is wrong | the agent fixes it and sends a new card that replaces this one |
| **Later** | not now | the card is set aside, nothing happens |

Your comment and your marks travel with the answer. An agent that is still running finishes its current step first, then receives your answer. Each answer is given to the agent once.

> **Note.** Only your approval approves. An agent never marks its own work as approved, and it never calls a screen "checked" because it looks right to it.

## A new card replaces the old one

When an agent answers your rejection, its new card replaces the old one. You judge each subject once, at its newest version. After an approval, an agent that needs to change the same screen again says what stays the same, so an approved look does not drift.

## Who has the card

Each card in the list shows who holds it and in what state: **asks you**, **working**, **holds it**, **failed**, **done**, or **nobody on it yet**. The states are the same as for a request: see [Ask for a change](https://golocomotive.fr/docs/using/requests.md#what-happens-next).

## Keep the list short

- **Hide handled** hides closed and archived cards.
- The counts at the top filter the list to what waits for you, or to what agents work on now.
- The open card stays in the address bar, so a reload keeps your place.
