> What GoLocomotive does not do today, so you can plan around it. Each item is a plain no, not a promise of a date.

This page lists what people often expect from a business platform and what GoLocomotive does not offer today. When one of these matters for your business, tell us: it helps us choose what comes next.

## The platform

> **Planned.** None of the items below has a date.

- **Phone apps from the app stores.** Your app works in the phone's browser, and its screens adapt to a phone. There is no app to install from an app store.
- **A desktop program.** The app runs in the browser.
- **Chat apps.** Your app does not talk through WhatsApp, Slack, SMS or phone calls.
- **A marketplace of ready made apps.** Each app is built for one business. There is no catalogue of apps to install.
- **AI credits.** Your own AI connects to your app and you pay its provider. GoLocomotive does not sell AI usage inside your app.
- **A plain language endpoint.** A system without its own AI cannot send a sentence to your app and get the work done. It can call the app's web API.
- **Outside MCP servers.** Your app is an MCP server for your AI. It does not call other MCP servers itself.

## Inside an app

- **Live updates on screen.** A list updates after a change made in the same page. A change made by someone else shows after a refresh of the list.
- **Sign in with an outside account** (Google, Microsoft and others).
- **A check of the email address at sign up.** Accounts are created by you in the portal, so this rarely matters.
- **Image thumbnails.** Images show at their full size.
- **A visual flow editor.** Automation is code in your app. See [Automation](https://golocomotive.fr/docs/apps/automation.md).
- **For your AI**: files, a list of the AI tools connected to an account, and revoking one connection without changing the password. See [Connect your AI](https://golocomotive.fr/docs/connect.md#not-there-yet).
